Endless Opportunities for Antiques Sellers, Let's Prioritize

As I am digging deeper into our online selling options, reaching out to sites with either technology or antiques industry information, and receiving contact from many other sellers with opinions and insights - I have to tell you, I am overwhelmed... I'm even MORE EXCITED but I am... overwhelmed.

The antiques industry is so fragmented and there are so many relevant considerations, I've decided to gather my thoughts and compile "white papers": the first will be called "State of the Industry" followed by "Making the Case for Selling Antiques Online".

I think we're all in agreement that there is a market for our products online but I think it's important for us to have easy access to "stats and facts" as we "lobby" to create a selling venue that provides us with the most opportunity for success. While there may be no "end all, be all" site for all of us, I am convinced that there can be a stand- alone site that can DEFINE antiques, vintage and collectibles shopping online.

I'm interested to hear the thoughts of others. It's going to take some work but I can assure you that the return on our investment will be great. If you have sources that I can use to gather information for these "white papers", please drop a note. Thanks.
